A fixture in the Big Sky community since 1995, owner Mike Staudt has been in the construction industry for nearly 20 years. After honing his skills with various local builders, his belief that the individual needs of clients are paramount in the building process led him to start Big Sky Homebuilders in 2003. Like any artist, Mike believes in attention to detail and stands by his work—which is built to last a lifetime, creating a legacy for the families he works with. Like many Big Sky residents, Mike first relocated here from Pennsylvania in search of dry and deep alpine powder, but fell in love with the community and all that the area has to offer. He resides in Big Sky along with his wife, Anne – a real estate agent with Big Sky Sotheby’s – son, Garin, and daughter, Ava. And yes, he built the house he lives in.
